Mission Mania

Hello again, hello.

What a busy summer it has been! This has been our schedule:

June 11 - 21 Jim in Honduras; Paula home
July 7 - 13: Jim and Paula in Mississippi
July 14 - 21: Jim home; Paula in Mississippi
July 22 - 28: Jim in Worcester; Paula home
July 29 - 4: Jim AND Paula home together ... will they survive?
Aug 5 - 6: Jim in Vermont; Paula home
Aug 6 - 10: Jim home; Paula in Worcester
Aug 10 - 12: A much needed weekend away for Jim and Paula at CampAgna
Aug 17 - 19: Jim home; Paula away with family

add in 6 Flags trips, Martha's Vineyard trips, cookouts and such and then, my friends, the summer is nearly over! How does this happen?!?! I think summer should be 4 months long ... in fact, I am deeming September as Summer extension. Sure the kids go back to school, but does that mean that summer is over for us overworked youth ministers? NO! (I'll let you know how that goes...)

I always tell the kids that on the first day of school all the grownups rent a moonwalk and go out for Chinese food. I am certainly willing to extend it to an entire month of September vacation with you however... PS: any days when neither you nor Jim are at the Randolph abode? Perhaps I could rent a room or sit in your special chair. I am very, very quiet and would not leave a mess?

fyi - you don't have to make any radical changes - my caledar say's first day of fall is september 23rd, so already 3+ weeks of Sept are already officially still summer. So live it up and don't feel guilty!
