Rosanna Rosanna Danna here

at least that is who I looked like this morning. Apparently it is really humid here and my hair sucked all the moisture out of the air and made itself really big and frizzy. What did I do, you ask? Bun with bangs of course!

We are just about ready to hit the road from the hotel and head down into town again. Here is another webcam for ya:

We will be there later too.

In a friendly cometition last night, Jim became the designated driver for the 3 hour drive back to Miami ... so that by default makes me the designated drinker. Woo Hoo!

We met an older couple on the shuttle heading downtown who are from Falmouth (small world!). We discussed the disappointing Patriot loss and what we would have done differently if we had been coach!

We walked downtown from the shuttle stop and we watched the sun set at Mallory Square. I had a frozen key lime margrita, jim had a Skip and Go Naked, which was a strawberry banana daqueri. I got some great pics of the sun setting and we watched some street performers. Then we headed up Duval Street and onward to our dinner location... where we were seated next to our friends from the shuttle.

First of all - dinner ROCKED!! Here is what we had in addition to our free bottle of wine: Paula: app - Angels on Horse back (a delightful starter consisting of dates infused with garlic and wrapped in bacon served with a hot pepper olive oil) then entree: hog snapper (an elusive fish that can only be caught by divers) served with a fantastic sauce the ingredients of which I can not remember) Jim had for app: Conch chowder entree: yellow fin snapper with tropical fruit salsa. For dessert we shared fruit sorbet and a dessert trio consisting of berry mixture, creme brulee and (of course) key lime pie.

Needless to say we were stuffed to the brim when we left... our friends left a bit before we did. We were glad to have a mile walk back to the hotel shuttle to walk it off! However when the van drove past us on the road heading to the stop, and the driver beeped and stopped to pick us up, we were even more glad for the ride!

When we got to the shuttle stop to pick up other returning passengers, our friends were there waiting for the shuttle. They laughed that we got a ride!

So that was our night ... and now it is time to check out and we are not out yet! So gotta run. Thanks for traveling with us!

Until later!
